The global firm Accenture says private 
exchanges, which enrolled 6 million people in 2014, will double that number next year and reach 40 million enrollees by 2018.
The growth in private exchanges is being driven by the mid- segment, including companies with 100 to 2,500 employees, says an article by three members the firm’s practice.
