Health Coverage Information Returns: A Key Date Calendar

While many if not most of the 2015 tax season deadlines have already passed, some information-filing deadlines are steadily approaching. Some have been already been extended, including the deadline for the mailing of Forms 1095-B and 1095-C, which was extended from February 1, 2016to March 31, 2016 Other extensions are still underway, including the mailing and electronic filing deadlines of certain informational returns. These dates are strictly for the 2015 tax year. Here are some key dates of note for most employers and coverage providers. Please note, if your company is filing 250 or more of Forms 1095-B or 1095-C, they may not be filed manually and instead must be filed electronically. Click here for more information.
