The IRS has released the final 1094/1095-C schedules and reporting instructions for the 2018 tax year, to be filed and furnished in 2019.

The IRS has also issued the filing schedule for ACA reporting for the 2018 tax year. As to whether or not any extension for the furnishing and filing deadlines will be available is yet unknown.
What is certain, however, is that the IRS Letter 226J penalty notice for the 2016 tax year is now being issued to employers identified as having not complied with the ACA, according to some of our ACA Times readers who have contacted us.
