- December 31, 2015 – Enrollment ends for 2015. Enrollment for 2016 can start as early as January 1.
- January 31, 2016 – This is the last day individuals can apply for 2016 coverage before the Open Enrollment period ends. After this date, consumers must qualify for special enrollment due to a life event such as loss of health coverage from a change in jobs, marriage, or the birth or adoption of a child.
